  1. biggest skill: avoiding ai. Its not adapt or fall behind. Adapting to talent-removing talent stealing, data collecting invasions of privacy IS falling behind.
Adapting to ai IS falling behind.
Be human. Its not so bad over here

  2. This is the first YouTube video that I really wished wouldn’t end. It’s very well-structured, with perfectly timed calls to action, and everything is so creative. Well done! Congratulations

  3. The winners are teacher's, anyone else notice that the money makers are teachers? This is a class the creator a teacher and he will earn from teaching us a skill we will play with for awhile then forget. Remember floppy 💾 exactly, remember Y2K? Exactly! Remember NFTs😂, exactly! Remember AOL? Exactly. AI will pass there is nothing new under the sun fear not. Every job exists to serve humans so your fear is foolish.

  4. Based on the current water consumption trends and the compounding impact of devices, AI systems, and other industries, a global water crisis could escalate into an irreversible catastrophe within 15–25 years, unless significant changes are made immediately. Let’s break it down:

    Key Factors Accelerating the Crisis

    1. Current Water Demand Exceeding Supply
    • By 2030, the global water demand is expected to exceed available freshwater supplies by 40% (World Economic Forum).
    • Overextraction of groundwater, especially in major agricultural and industrial hubs, means critical reserves could be depleted within 15–20 years in key areas like:
    • The Ogallala Aquifer (U.S.)
    • The North China Plain
    • Parts of India, the Middle East, and Africa

    2. AI and Device Water Usage
    • The explosive growth of AI systems and device production will dramatically increase water usage:
    • Data centers alone are projected to consume 660 billion liters of water globally per year by 2030.
    • With 1.5 billion devices produced annually (and growing), manufacturing demands will outpace current water recycling infrastructure.

    3. Climate Change and Urbanization
    • Climate change will make 40% of the world’s population live in severely water-stressed areas by 2050 (UN IPCC).
    • Urbanization and industrial expansion in regions already facing water scarcity (e.g., India, Sub-Saharan Africa) will accelerate the crisis.

    4. Agriculture and Food Security
    • Water-intensive agriculture continues to dominate, consuming 70% of freshwater resources.
    • By 2050, food production must increase by 50%, which will require even more water, potentially triggering a crisis within 20–25 years as supplies dwindle.

Estimated Timeline for Global Water Crisis
    • 2025–2030:
    • Water scarcity worsens in urban areas and water-stressed regions.
    • Data centers and AI-driven industries in drought-prone areas (e.g., U.S. Southwest) begin competing with agriculture and domestic users for water.
    • 2030–2040:
    • Widespread regional crises emerge as groundwater sources (e.g., aquifers) are depleted faster than they can be replenished.
    • Climate-related droughts cause severe disruptions to agriculture, food prices, and migration patterns.
    • Water disputes escalate into geopolitical conflicts in transboundary river basins (e.g., Nile, Indus).
    • 2040–2050:
    • Global systems (industrial, agricultural, and domestic) fail to meet basic water demands for up to 5 billion people.
    • Critical shortages lead to mass migrations, economic collapse in water-stressed regions, and global instability.

    Conclusion

The global water crisis could reach catastrophic levels within the next 20–25 years, especially if industries like tech and AI continue their current trajectory of water consumption. Immediate interventions—such as recycling water, adopting sustainable technologies, and regulating industrial water use—are essential to delay this timeline and avert widespread disaster.

  5. Im a generalist designer. I was up for integrating AI into my workflow. I’ve tried it a lot and apart from helping me debug a bit of JavaScript I’ve found it to be pretty poor. I’ve tried using it for copywriting, design, image and logo creation. It’s below average and doesn’t get you 80% of the way there at all. Images look AI. Copy reads like AI. Customers aren’t stupid. If someone looks at your brand and suspects it’s AI then they will be put off. People respect effort and craftsmanship. Not churned out, half arsed garbage. Sorry!

  6. Company owners put certain people into "AI teams" or "emerging tech" departments, cybersecurity knowing full f*cking well they will all be taken over by AI agents – their roles are just used to get things going for CEOs then they axe the entire division, and use the words "restructuring".

Same with project management. Don't know what to do with someone? Put them into a PM role. There, placate temporarily, because Remote Management Software will replace them and give us $$$millions in saved salaries.

AI doesn't argue, you don't need to pay vacation, sick time or bonuses. It doesn't screw up as much as humans and hey $5/day beats vs 90k/year.

    It's happening now.

  7. Ah yes, an ai software that uses an ai coder to make an ai website to sell ai merch about an ai influencer who makes ai videos with ai music and ai thumbnails watched by an ai user so they can get an ai summary so they can feed it to the ai software and the cycle repeats. All that’s left is to get rid of the final inefficient component to achieve 100% efficiency and profitability…

    You…

  8. @liamottley Thank you so much, I have been looking for something like this on Youtube for a while – would love to get in touch with you if you are willing. I currently work as a Solution Architect at Salesforce, but am also looking to learn the more macro universe of AI.
