  1. Facebook got rid of "fact checkers" and is going to use community notes instead. At the same time they announced that they are going to increase the amount of AI profiles that they use. So now you're going to have AI that's controlled by Facebook influencing what the community notes dictate. Anyone else see a problem with that? Pretty much just basically coming out saying that they will create their own facts.

  2. Can we just stop calling it "influencers" and jus call it pure "manipulation" or flat out LIES. People need to really work on their discernment but I guess that requires critical thinking which has been destroyed by social media.

  3. I'm in the language learning sphere and the problem happening there is random people generating short story readers in different languages and posting them for sale (with AI generated book covers, of course, no expense spared). No guarantee anything will be correct, much less idiomatic, because the closest human to the project only speaks English. Publication year is starting to matter quite a bit when choosing reference materials.

  4. I think we’re going to see a return of the type of body that was popular in the 70s and 80s. It will prove the person is real. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, check out a Rockford File rerun.

  5. I don't see many commercials on utube now. Used to be one every 3 minutes.
I don't believe fake videos make any money at all. Just garbage-ifying the Internet.
If uTube is cutting checks it must mean they ran an ad. Am I wrong??

  6. People fell for grainy Photoshop for decades. There's no hope for them lol

I just FB would stop flooding my feed with pages i dont follow. Most of it is AI crap and rage bait. I also miss connecting with my actual FB friends.

  7. Hey guys! HS student in Canada here! Just letting you know thay according to my teachers and administrative staff at my school, if we use anything that is created by an AI or something like chatgpt to do our school work it can be copywrited and we can be suspended or expelled depending on how often the bot was used for school work.

Just be careful when using or advertising something like that because it does have the potential to get you in trouble!

Ps. Love your videos so much, I've been binging them recently and tbh I've learned more from you about credit, economics, and finances than I ever have from school. So thank you a bunch! 💜

  8. After doing a massive non-fiction book declutter years ago as “I can just google it”, I’ve started buying old non-fiction / instructional books again bc of this problem. Got a great book on running published in 1999 by a reputable source – hard-won evidence based and properly sourced knowledge – no AI generated misinformation corrupting this work.
