1)
Tech Stack:
Frontend: React Native with TypeScript, Expo, and Expo Router
Backend/Database: Supabase
UI Framework: React Native Paper
AI Processing: DeepSeek

2)
ChatGPT Prompt I Used:
When you open the app, you see a clean welcome screen. After signing up with email, you land on the main dashboard. Here you see your tasks sorted by AI priority. You can add tasks through quick-add or by chatting with AI. When ready to focus, you enter Focus Mode which blocks notifications and starts a timer. After completing a session, you see your progress and can start another session or take a break.

I am building a productivity app that helps users focus on one task at a time. I need a detailed and structured explanation of the app’s flow and features, written as a Markdown file, so that it is easy for an app developer to understand and implement. Use the Context over to write this.

  1. Anyone who has spent considerable amount of time using AI to code entire solutions knows you cant build a $10k app in hours! These videos "make a $10k app in 5 hours using AI" remind me of videos like "make $10k day trading in 5 hours". If you have 0 coding knowledge you will eventually fall into a trap with your project where the AI just cant help you. Especially when it comes to authentication, routes, layouts and types (ts). Will it get better over time, hell yeah, which is why I'm going deep into this now! It also reminds me of when Dreamweaver came out as one of the first mainstream visual HTML editors. It was great to drap and drop, but if you screwed up, you HAD to know how to fix the underlying code!

Should you start learning about code and get into this now – absolutely! Will you create a $10k app in 5 hours if you don't have any programming knowledge, probably not. That's okay cause you are learning and over time this is going to be the best investment ever. Using AI coders is also a great way to learn if you follow and try to understand the edits it makes for you.

  2. Wow, calm down devs. I've not seen so much negativity or hate since 1970's, and I suffered the after effects of Jim Crow in Mississippi. That's saying alot about the devs talking down on this tech. Give it another 3-5 years, AI will be swiping more jobs than swiper on Dora the explorer…."Awww mann"

  3. Really awesome stuff! Would be awesome if you could showcase Firebase and React Navigation. I've run into some hurdles with implementing real-time data updates and push notifications. Learned so much from you. Thank you
