  1. Pay rate is too low for south Americans and there's no constant projects to work on. By the way, from my experience that's just an exhaustive side job you could work if you really need some income

  2. Thank you. I am Vietnamese and currently have a job at Outlier. I am concerned about the safety of this job. After watching your video, I felt very happy and received positive insights. Thank you very much for sharing this in your video.

  3. I used it for about 7 months. Outlier is extremely unorganized and they will kick you off of a project for a mistake that they made. Yes for their mistake, not yours. I highly suggest not using them.

  4. I was contacted by Outlier’s recruiter on LinkedIn and doing the onboarding process in these days. For now it seems interesting opportunity and I am learning things from different prospective. I already work with the language, so I am enjoying studying and doing tasks. But I read a lot of good and also bad reviews. So, I will see.

  5. It's absolutely legit and their support has gotten much better lately, offering to help if you find yourself without tasks or EQ (empty queue). They'll hook you up!

  6. I recently got selected for our AI training in our native Language writting ..any body can shed light on the nature of job. Some clarity missing. In which area should I equip myself with.

  7. Tried desperately to sign up, couldnt get help with an error related to verifying my identity (used my driver's license as an American), repeatedly contacted support for a month and gave up. Suddenly one day i was sent a link to join the platform. I have no idea whats happening…

  8. There are no "jobs" on Outlier. You are paid by Outlier to train AI models for their customers. It is a grind. Instead of making a video about what is easily searched on Google, why not sign up for it and see how it works ? It's a messy, messy business.

  9. Outlier is an absolute sham. The onboarding process is drawn out, tedious, repetitive, and a complete waste of time. They complicate it more than it needs to be.

Don't waste your time with this company and its process. It's certainly not worth the time put into it.

  10. Outlier is legit. It's very dependent on your performance. The reputation you garner through your work moves you further up. Onboarding was a nightmare with little to no communication, took me almost a month, and it takes time to get yourself in and on a consistent project. Training is also loose and rules on projects are constantly changing. If you fail assessments you get booted from the project with little chance to retry the assessments.

  11. I have been with Outlier 4 months. I have made $1000usd. After a month I decided to take some online classes on designing prompts. I also found some apps that create ideas and constraints. Some positions can be fun , some can be really hard. I am homless and having some extra cash is wonderful.

  12. My main concern is that it is used for training generative AI's. As freelance illustrator, if you're aware of how generative AI spits on the majority of artist's faces by being trained with our work without any consent or compensation, you know it goes against my principles to train these machines.

  13. Have worked with Outlier in conjunction with Remotasks and have been paying my bills all through with Outlier. The empty dashboard normally comes if the project you were handling came to an end or maybe if did your test and did not pass. It's a good platform to earn good cash to train AI chat models.

  14. I recently completed several tasks with Outlier. However, after two weeks, I did not receive the payment, and my account was unexpectedly suspended. When I contacted Outlier support, I was told that my account could not be reactivated, leaving my time and efforts unrewarded and the payment still pending.

  15. I've been with them for about four months now. While I wouldn't recommend it as a viable source of income it is nice for a little side money. You probably won't be making thousands unless you're very good at what they "want" you to do and putting in 8+ hour days, but a hundred here and there every week is nice. Getting into projects can be difficult and what makes dealing with them super frustrating is when you finally get put on a project that you click with only to be taken off of it a week or two later because the project is no longer available, or they completed what they needed and are moving onto the next phase.

  16. Total BS and waate of time. Pay $7.5/hour in my country while could be 35 somewhere else. It’s way cheaper than my internet bill
I’d be happy to do it probably if I didn’t finish elementary school.
